PHOENIX – In the lengthy list of recycled things, the Sip Coffee & Beer Garage deserves a second look.

Located at 3620 E. Indian School Road, the establishment offers food, a full selection of lab coffees, handcrafted cocktails and extensive lists of local beers and wines, on tap or in glass containers. The space also features about 100 seats, a dining patio and a décor based on funky finds and furnishings.

What makes the establishment distinctive, however, is the fact that until about two years ago, it was an Avis Quik Lube, where patrons went to get their cars serviced, not their tummies.
