Rustler’s Rooste Serves Up Rattlesnake, Food Fit for a Cowboy

If you’re searching for an authentic Southwestern dining experience, look no further than Rustler’s Rooste. Located on a scenic butte in the foothills of South Mountain, this spot doesn’t lack in views or in food.

The restaurant serves a variety of family-style entrees fit for a crowd of cowboys, including rattlesnake for adventurous eaters. The snake comes with prickly pear cactus fries and a tangy chipotle ranch sauce. Grab a souvenir t-shirt to remember your slithery dining experience.

Enjoy live music from a country western band or a magic show from the resident magician. Check out various ranchers’ brands that decorate the walls or take a ride down a tin slide.

The restaurant was founded in 1971 and is still family-owned and operated.
